Nature Circles

Last Autumn, I launched one of my visions, to grow a tribe of women supporting women, to help them manage their mental health.  This was a vision I had, prior to Covid and I felt lockdown had exasperated the need for us to connect face-to-face again and support one another through loving connection.

Participants had the opportunity to share, laugh, explore and discover in beautiful, private, safe surroudings.  We also discussed different coping strategies, to help manage anxiety, that could be applied to your daily lives.  These sessions were very relaxed and informal to encourage intimacy and deeper connections.

Lockdown had been a challenging time for our brains and having coping srategies to help us manage the tricky, overwhelming feelings we experienced, was really helpful.  We had been very isolated so making new connections, with like-minded women, was a good opportunity whilst reflecting on some of our experiences and sharing stories.

When we go through a traumatic experience, we spend a lot of time in 'flight or fight' mode.  This is what happens when people become fearful.  Nature is a wonderful resource for our wellbeing and is very accepting and nurturing for our souls and helps us return to a calm place of 'rest and digest'.  Where we feel relaxed and grounded.

The first programme was very successful and the women that attended, have continued to be members of my Nature Circle group, http://www.community.natureconnection.world/ which is part of the wider Nature Connection Community,  hosted by Ian Banyard.  This is a growing community for Nature Loving Souls.  If you love the idea of connecting with like-minded women and Nature Loving Sisters, please consider joining our growing global group of women, who want to help develop more Nature Consciousness locally and globally.
